"Lord of the Forest" Paul Kethley 30x22 Oil $4500.
Welcome to the Studio of Artist and Gallery owner Laura Kratz. Laura paints primarily in oils, but enjoys working in pastels as well. You may find her along a mountain trail with her plein air easel capturing the natural beauty in and around Grand Lake! Curating the gallery (all 3900 sq. ft) is also one of her passions. Displaying a variety of 3 dimentional artwork in a warm and inviting setting.
When time permits you will find her at the easel located in the gallery, where you can cozy up on the couch and watch her paint.
Studio 8369 is proud to represent Erik in his mini gallery Images of RMNP, located within our studio. "Photography is a way for me to communicate my deepest feelings about our natural world." -Erik S.
Erik's work focuses on Rocky Mountain National Park. He has spent over a decade exploring and photographing it's 415 sq. miles, building the most extensive collection of fine art photographs of the park. In doing so he is documenting and preserving RMNP for generations to come.
I like to illustrate figures interacting with the environment including cowboys, Native Americans and wildlife." Many of Paul's oil originals are a result of working with a local friend who trains mustangs near his home in Buena Vista, in a beautiful part of the Arkansas River valley. His friend and the horses he trains serve as models for many of his paintings. "My goal is to keep striving for the ultimate work of art and to enjoy the journey as much as the rewards."
There's much to see here. So, take your time. We are still working some things out and will be doing so for a few weeks to come. We hope to use the Featured Artists space above to tell you a bit more about the Artist we represent.
We are excited to announce that we were asked and are honored to be hosting this years
